Massey Hall presents

CCMA Award Nominee Jessica Mitchell is, at heart, a storyteller – an open book. From Toronto, she has spent the last decade digging deeper into her artistry, focusing on writing new music and crafting her richly unique sound, which has led her to become one of the music industry's best-kept secrets.
Influenced by artists such as Sheryl Crow, Tori Amos and Radiohead, Mitchell’s music tells it like it is, while delivering emotional vulnerability that showcases a more mysterious truth, felt through tracks such as “Workin' on Whiskey” and the soul searching “Grown Up Things".
Special Guest Spencer Burton opens the evening. Spanning a musical life with hardcore beginnings, to the somber strings of his acoustic guitar in his country-folk infused solo project, Spencer Burton is a mainstay musical virtuoso.
