Whitehorsewith special guest Terra Lightfoot
Massey Hall presents
JUNO Award-winning duo Whitehorse (Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland) return to Massey Hall with their new album Panther In The Dollhouse (out July 7, 2017) as part of the Live at Massey Hall concert & film series, with special guest Terra Lightfoot.
With Panther In The Dollhouse, Whitehorse showcase the dizzying guitar playing and vocal chemistry they’re known for, but the album also brings a twist to Whitehorse's studio approach with the addition of beats and bleeps from NYC hip-hop production duo Like Minds (whose credits include Kanye West and Snoop Dogg). The album is packed with inventive sonic elements and neo-noir drama, with the songwriting making a clean break from autobiography to fully embracing cinematic fiction in sleek and high-gloss showmanship. For this special concert, Whitehorse will perform with a full band.
Since the release of Terra Lightfoot’s acclaimed album Every Time My Mind Runs Wild, the soulful roots rocker has wowed audiences across North America, the UK and Europe, playing hundreds of live dates in venues from cafés to coliseums and everywhere in between, performing alongside heavyweights like Emmylou Harris, Ron Sexsmith, Arkells, Monster Truck and more.
By entering Massey Hall for the Live at Massey Hall series you consent to having your image captured and displayed for promotional and/or documentary use.
Whitehorse would like to offer an exclusive, free track download to all ticket holders for the December 8th Live at Massey Hall performance. When you purchase tickets to the show you will receive an exclusive, free download link for “Good At Being Alone.”
