Dapper Toronto troubadour Royal Wood is used to taking risks. A former foreign exchange trader, he swapped Bay Street for the studio after the release of his 2007 album, A Good Enough Day. An acclaimed collection of ballads, The Waiting, followed. And this summer brought yet another departure: Woods’ new record We Were Born to Glory, a charmingly upbeat pop-rock ode to life.

Canadian Northern Star Elisapie Isaac, award-winning singer, composer and filmmaker opens for Royal Wood at Massey Hall with her sophomore solo album Travelling Love, released on October 30. The album captures Elisapie's unique polar pop sound. Skipping across languages and genres.
