Brazil has no better ambassador than composer, singer and guitarist Giberto Gil. With co-conspirator Caetano Veloso, Gil brilliantly grafted the folkloric DNA of South America to rock and jazz, creating the late-1960s movement known as Tropicalia and becoming a Latin icon in the process. His latest project, For All, reinvents baião, the infectious celebratory dance music of Northeast Brazil.
